SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Security Enforcement Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the community. This position demands a keen sense of awareness and the ability to effectively report incidents while enforcing rules and regulations. The Officer will work closely with property management and law enforcement when necessary to uphold security for all residents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor and report on property activity, documenting incidents such as use of force, law enforcement interactions, guest injuries, and property damage.
- Maintain a daily log of patrol activities, guest interactions, policy violations, safety concerns, and inspection reports.
- Respond promptly to management communications regarding operational changes and service updates.
- Conduct regular cleaning tasks as necessary, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Strictly adhere to all security protocols and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing required training sessions to stay informed and compliant.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance overall safety and security.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Possess a security belt, handcuffs, flashlight, and pepper spray.High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.A minimum of two years of security experience is required.No felony convictions or outstanding warrants are permitted.Must be legally eligible to work according to State and Federal regulations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout each shift.Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds.Regular face-to-face interactions with clients and residents are essential.Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor in a dynamic work environment.WORKING CONDITIONS
