Desktop Support Specialist

Overview

Desktop Support Specialist role at The CCS Companies is responsible for delivering high quality desktop support services to internal customers in specified facilities and external client liaisons. Working under the direction of the Desktop Support Manager, The Desktop Support Specialist prioritizes and resolves technical user support issues to help the organization maintain high levels of operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responds to user helpdesk requests and answers telephone inquiries.
• Prioritizes and resolves technical issues to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Manages PC installations, imaging, upgrades, and patches.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems related to hardware and software.
• Collaborates with Network Support to ensure that PCs, printers, laptops, and other peripherals are in working order and able to connect to the corporate network.
• Tracks, updates, and manages issues using IT ticketing software.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
