Job description

Administrative Support Specialist

This position provides administrative and operational support across various Human Resources business functions, contributing to the effective management of employee life-cycle transactions. The role includes serving as the first point of contact at the front desk of the Human Resources Service Center, delivering high-quality customer service to applicants, employees, and managers.

Additional Information :

  • Handles all front desk duties and walk-ins into the building.
  • Follows-up and assist with Ready Set Accounts.

Assist with administrative side to Orientation.

    Required Education :

    High school diploma or GED or equivalent

    Recommended Education :

    Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

    Required Work Experience :

    High School Diploma / GED, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma / GED.

    Recommended Work Experience :

    Required Certifications :

    Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - HRCI, SHRM-CP - SHRM

    Description :

    Provides high quality customer service in responding to routine inquires including hiring, benefits, compensation, training or other HR procedures.

    Collaborates with team members to resolve customer issues and completes work timely and accurately.

    Works with peers to support established service levels and respond directly to employees and management regarding issues that require a subject matter expert within other areas.

    Schedules internal and external meetings.

    Supports and administers different HR functions and programs. Manages data within the HRIS and other systems. Supports processes such as on-boarding, benefits eligibility and entitlement, workforce administration, position control, pay administration, etc.

    Produces correspondence, communications and prepares weekly, biweekly and monthly reports.

    Maintains employee data in HR system and ancillary HR systems. Ensure personnel information is accurate and adheres to department standards. Optimizes data quality by conducting regular audits and ensuring employee data is kept up to date and accurate.
