Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive support to students in a K-12 educational setting. The role is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year, starting July 1, 2025, and concluding June 30, 2026. The position involves working on-site at multiple school locations within the district, providing in-person therapy services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students ranging from pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
  • Manage a caseload typically between 10-15 students with diverse speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
  • Travel between multiple school sites as assigned to meet the needs of the caseload.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably with students across a wide age range (prek-12).
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel between schools within the district during the workweek.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, face-to-face therapy (teletherapy not applicable).
  • Work Schedule :

  • 7 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Location :

  • Belfast, Maine area, covering multiple school sites as required.
