Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in neuro and body interventional procedures for a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center.
Responsibilities
Work in an Interventional Radiology unit supporting both neuro and body proceduresHandles adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations with a wide range of acuityUtilizes single and biplane Siemens radiography units for interventional proceduresPerforms both outpatient and inpatient proceduresUses McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart (Cerner experience preferred but not required)Day shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday through Saturday, 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PMMandatory call one weekend per month and 1–2 additional days per week, with holiday call requiredFloating may be required per facility guidelines, including to other units as appropriateResponsibilities include supporting high-acuity neuro and body interventional radiology procedures for diverse age groupsCall and holiday coverage required as part of the team rotationPatients vary from outpatient to inpatient with a wide range of acuity levelsTeam members must be willing to float to other units as required by the facilityMust be able to work 50% of holidays during the contractLocal candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rateReturning travelers must have a 9-month gap between assignmentsRequirements
Minimum of 2 years overall experience with at least 1 year in interventional radiologyCurrent MO or Compact state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)Experience in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center is expectedProficiency operating single and biplane Siemens radiography unitsFamiliarity with McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart preferredBenefits
