Join Our Night-Shift Team as a Batch Blending Technician

Help us deliver consistent, high-quality products by managing blending, documentation, and packaging from start to finish.

Your Impact

• Production Readiness : Review production schedules and batch cards; stage raw materials against customer and batch requirements.
• Verification : Confirm TA item code numbers, lot numbers, and raw material weights before any blender charge.
• Equipment Prep : Clean and inspect the blender so it’s ready for the next compound charge.
• Charging & Hand-Adds : Complete compound charges and perform all hand-adds exactly as specified on the batch card.
• Documentation & Escalation : Report any procedural variation to supervision and record it on the batch card.
• Cross-Functional Flow : Coordinate blender production with other areas to maintain throughput.
• Packaging Excellence : Follow customer packaging instructions; ensure product is packed, labeled, weighed, and sealed; flag schedule or instruction concerns to the Bagger Leadman.
• Labeling : Generate labels and align / affix them correctly to containers.
• Changeovers : Execute timely, clean packaging equipment changeovers with all required safety equipment; notify mill area operators when complete.
• Materials Readiness : Prepare packaging materials (Gaylords, Supersacks, etc.) to support upcoming shift needs.
• Systems & Tracking : Scan / enter finished product into the computer system.
• Safety & Upkeep : Maintain good housekeeping and wear required PPE at all times.
• Performance & Improvement : Meet or exceed plant KPIs; contribute to and sustain Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Flexibility : Learn Line 4 Blending and step into other roles as needed.
