Pemb Crew Lead / Foreman

Company : Triple Tech Welding

Position Overview :

We're hiring a hands-on PEMB Crew Lead / Foreman with true journeyman-level expertise in all aspects of pre-engineered metal building erection. This is a full-time, leadership position for someone who's ready to take control of jobsite production, safety, and quality. If you've built everything from standing seam roofs to tilt-wall hybridsand you know how to lead a crew the right waywe want to talk.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead field erection of PEMB structures from layout to final trim
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, PEMB plans, and connection details
  • Direct and coordinate a crew of 38 ironworkers and laborers
  • Maintain pace, productivity, and jobsite safety daily
  • Communicate clearly with project managers and GCs on-site
  • Coordinate crane activities, deliveries, and sequencing
  • Perform and oversee installation of :

Standing seam roofing systems

  • Gutter, flashing, trim, and downspouts
  • Wall panel systems (siding, sheeting, insulation)
  • Interior liner systems (vinyl and rigid insulation)
  • Collaborate with fabrication team for field modifications if needed
  • Ensure compliance with erection tolerances and AC478 standards (if applicable)
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • 5+ years of verifiable PEMB erection experience (must be journeyman level)
  • Demonstrated ability to run jobs and lead a crew independently
  • Strong working knowledge of :
  • Standing seam roof systems

  • PEMB trims, flashings, and wall panel systems
  • Metal building insulation systems (batt, vinyl, and rigid)
  • Girt, purlin, bracing, and anchor bolt layouts
  • Proficient with basic rigging and crane operations
  • Must be safety-minded, reliable, and teachable
  • Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) :

  • Familiar with AC478 program requirements
  • Experience in tilt-wall steel connections or hybrid projects
  • Experience in conventional structural steel erection
  • Basic fabrication or modification skills (torch, weld, cut)
  • Ability to operate equipment (telehandler, man lift, etc.)
  • Position Details :

  • Full-Time | W-2
  • Pay based on experience + performance
  • Out-of-town projects possible (per diem + lodging provided)
  • Strong potential for growth into Field Superintendent role
  • Compensation : $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
