JOB OVERVIEW Job Title : Diagnostic Radiologist Job Type : Locum Tenens Location : Richmond, IN Service Setting : Inpatient Hospital Coverage Type : Clinical Only (No Weekends) Coverage Period : 01 / 05 03 / 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. 4 : 00 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch) COVERAGE DATES February , 2026 April , 2026 May , 2026 May , 2026 (excluding Memorial Day, 5 / 25) June , 2026 June 29 July 3, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics : Adult and geriatric population Patient Volume / Census : 5090 studies per day, primarily STAT ER exams Rounding : Not required Phone Consults : As needed within department Case Mix : Plain films, CTs, optional Ultrasound or MRI (no procedures, no fluoro, no mammography) FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department : 189 Trauma Level : Level III EMR System : Epic PACS System : GE PACS with Powerscribe dictation Specialty Backup Available : 13 additional radiologists on-site daily Support Staff Available : Technologists and administrative personnel Reason for Coverage : Vacation coverage for permanent staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : No (standard credentialing 3060 days) Credentialing Timeline : 3060 days Orientation : In-person, one day (Friday before start preferred; 7 : 30 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m.) Emergency Privileges : Not available Flu Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemption accepted) COVID Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemption accepted) Timesheet Platform : Digital timesheet via Vemsta COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Read plain films and CTs (STAT ER focus) Optional : Ultrasound and MRI interpretations JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses : Active Indiana license or IMLC (required) Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible (must certify within 5 years of residency) DEA : Not specified Certifications : BLS (AHA-issued) Experience : Minimum 2 years post-residenc
