Position Overview :
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team to support school health services across various campuses. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working with children and adolescents in an educational environment and are looking for flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities Include :
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Providing first aid and emergency care to students and staff
- Monitoring and managing chronic health conditions
- Supporting students with behavioral needs and IEPs
- Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
- Communicating with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Promoting health education and wellness initiatives
Minimum Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited registered, practical or vocational nursing programLicensed as a Licensed Practical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicingOne year of professional experienceCurrent CPR certificationRecent TB test, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageNecessary Qualifications :
Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settingsAbility to work independently and adapt to changing environmentsProficient in restroom assistance and hygiene supportExperience with feeding assistance, including G-tube careSkilled in tracheostomy and ventilator managementCapable of diabetic care and blood glucose monitoringAble to monitor and respond to seizure activityWhy Join Us?
