Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Fairbanks, Alaska (99701) – Alaska nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Hours per Week : 40 hours

Shift : 10-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM), rotating Monday–Friday

Weekend Rotation : Yes, on-call required

Holiday Coverage : On-call required for holidays

Floating : Occasional floating to Endoscopy unit

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,490 - $2,670

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license (required at time of application)

Minimum 1 year of Operating Room circulating experience (required)

3+ years of OR RN experience preferred

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Ability to participate in on-call rotation and float to Endoscopy as needed

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver circulating nursing care in the Operating Room for diverse surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards

Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery

Respond to surgical emergencies and participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays

Float to Endoscopy unit as needed to provide clinical support
