Senior Cost Accountant

Hydraulics International, Inc (HII) is looking for an energetic and friendly Senior Cost Accountant to join our accounting team! Under the direction of the Controller, the Senior Cost Accountant will assist with the maintenance of the cost and general accounting systems. This role includes all inventory balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, cost analysis, and audit support. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, advanced Excel skills, and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, 3 years cost accounting experience, and with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency with ERP accounting software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of Cost Accounting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

Planning and Organizing - Establishing courses of action to ensure that work is com­pleted effectively.

Salary Expectations:

$90k – 115k
