This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - Payments in the United States .

In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of payment products across multiple platforms, driving both innovation and operational excellence. You will own the payments product roadmap, manage vendor relationships, and work closely with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience. This position offers the opportunity to influence high-level strategy while managing detailed technical requirements, including new payment flows, fraud controls, and dynamic routing. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of payment products, leveraging emerging technologies such as ML logic, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods. Remote work is supported, with occasional collaboration at corporate locations.

Accountabilities :

  • Own and maintain the legacy payments tech stack while defining and executing a roadmap for future payments infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including cross-functional business and engineering teams, vendor partners, and sponsor banks.
  • Deliver new capabilities such as dynamic routing strategies, fraud controls, and machine learning-driven payment solutions.
  • Define and standardize KPIs to guide decision-making and showcase results.
  • Author technical feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex use cases.
  • Lead go-live communications and ensure smooth feature adoption across internal teams and external partners.
  • Present roadmaps, technical concepts, and strategic initiatives to a broad audience, including executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in payments product management.
  • 3–5 years supporting payments acceptance products and core payment flows.
  • 3–5 years supporting payments issuing products, including sponsor bank relationships or program management.
  • Strong technical fluency, including experience with API definitions, payment specifications, and system architecture.
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, balancing multiple priorities and initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; additional technical or product certifications a plus.
