Knowledge and Experience :
Must be minimum 21 years of age3 years verifiable valid Drivers licenseMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain a CA CDL class B license with passenger endorsementMust have clean driving record DMV printout required for the last 10 yearsMust have stable work historySkills :

Customer Service :
Ensure customers feel welcomeEffectively communicate with passengers especially in the event of service disruptionsProvide passengers with assistance as neededAccommodate passengers with information such as schedule, guidance, etc.Safety :
Ensure safe on-road operations while maintaining on-time performanceFamiliarity with assigned routing and detoursAwareness of ADA Policies and ProceduresUnderstanding of ADA ComplianceProper operation of all wheelchair lifts, for each bus modelReport immediately to dispatch any vehicular accident or passenger incident and follow the incident and accident reporting proceduresComply with all requirements of the Road Traffic Safety Management SystemComply with the rules, laws and regulations relating to road safetyReport any situation posing a risk to road safety to supervisorPromote road safety when driving a vehicleOperations :
Collect the prescribed fares and notify dispatch of any type of fare evasion or fraudPerform pre and post trip inspections and enter all defects into the ZONAR systemFollow exact deadhead routing and their assigned revenue service routesDepart the start of each route exactly on-time and never operate ahead of scheduleReport any bunching of buses or other problems that may disrupt scheduled servicePerform other duties as assignedAdditional Statements :
