The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care through intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed, within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision. This role involves evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, while also explaining the purpose and procedures of treatments, tests, and equipment to patients and providing necessary education upon discharge.
