Position Description :

The Baker Position offers a variety of opportunities to thrive in more than one area of focus. All bakers learn how to ball dough, decorate desserts, and fill orders for our amazing customers. Were also a team, so everyone pitches in where needed for cleaning tasks, refilling ingredients, and taking customer orders. Bakers 18 years old or more can learn to mix dough, operate ovens, and move into leadership roles quickly. We have formal training programs that provide specific hourly raises upon successful completion.

Minimum Job Requirements :

• At least 16 years old (hours limited by VA law until 18)
• Availability to work weekday evenings and at least two Saturdays per month (we're closed Sundays)
• Completion of Basic Food Handlers certificate prior to start date (short online course for under $10)
• Must have smartphone / tablet and able to use for required apps and weekly menu training
• No previous bakery experience necessary
• Hourly Wages Advertised Include Shift Differentials and a Guarantee Tip Minimum :

This role includes TIP SHARING as part of the advertised hourly pay, with a MINIMUM of $2.00 added to your base hourly rate per shift worked . This means if the total pooled tips for eligible shifts does not add up to $3.00 per hour, then we will make up the difference. Tip sharing is NOT capped, so if the store collects more tips than the minimum, that portion will be shared according to policy.
