Metal Sorter Job Description.

Essential responsibilities : Sort materials by manually picking them up from a moving conveyor belt.

Pay rate is $16 for the afternoon shift starts from 1 : 00 PM 4 : 00 PM, 10 hour shifts, Mon-Thu or Tues Fri.

Must be able to work days, afternoons, or midnights and day shift.

Minimum requirements :

• Must be a dependable, self-motivated individual.
• This job is performed in a building that is heated to some degree. Employees are subject to heat or cold based on outside temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift. Also able to walk, bend / twist, and push / pull.
• Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.
• Maintain cleanliness of the recycling facility.
• May occasionally assist by operating hi-lo.
• Shoveling scrap into various bins for processing.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
