Farmers Insurance is looking for driven, career-minded individuals to join our Insurance Agent Development Program . This is a hands-on, growth-focused opportunity designed to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in the insurance industry long-term.
Through one-on-one coaching and structured training, you'll learn how to build strong client relationships, offer meaningful protection solutions, and learn to grow a book of business within a high-performing agency. This position will set you up for long-term success. This role is designed for professionals who are committed to growing their skills, client relationships, and industry presence over the next 2 to 3 years — not just looking for a short-term position.
What You’ll Do :
- Build your sales, service, and marketing skills with guidance from an experienced, qualified agent trainer
- Consult with customers to identify insurance needs and recommend solutions
- Develop new business through networking, warm leads, referrals, and cross-selling
- Learn how to manage client accounts, service requests, and policy renewals
- Complete industry training and licensing (support available)

Who We’re Looking For :
A proactive, professional and confident communicatorA natural, competitive relationship-builder with strong follow-throughCompetitive and motivated to learn and growLicenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health are preferred, but support is available for qualified candidates.Someone with previous experience(2-3 years minimum) :Customer Service : Account representatives, Administrative or similar professional fieldsSales : Sales Representatives, Insurance Producers or other sales-focused roles.Business : Business Development, Small business owners or other leadership-based qualities.Former athletes encouraged to applyBenefits
