Fire Alarm Project Specialist 2

Overview

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Fire Alarm Project Technician to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, perform system start-up / check-out, testing / commissioning, customer training and all associated documentation on assigned installation projects including more complex projects. As a Fire Alarm Project Technician, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

• Installs, programs, test, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and / or building automation with guidance as Colleague is key interface for the provision of technical support and training for the customer and as such is accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Refers more complex issues to higher level colleagues.
• Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex
• Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand
• Working understanding of building, mechanical, sprinkler and fire
• Coach and mentor less experienced
• Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions. Writes routine programs for
