Job Details

We are seeking a bright, diligent, experienced Probate and Estate Planning Attorney to join our boutique law firm. Teamwork, organization, and customer service are crucial to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to attorneys
  • Prepare Probate Pleadings
  • Track inventory and distribution of assets
  • Knowledge of IRS Forms
  • Recording documents and deeds with courts, E-Filing
  • Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy
  • Enter time and print reports as requested
  • Heavy Dictation
  • Maintaining clients files including preparing documents for signings
  • Daily communication with clients in a professional manner
  • Filing wills in appropriate counties, ensuring proper docketing and timely filing of all tax returns and court papers
  • Communicating with governmental agencies, accountants / advisors, financial institutions and other relevant third parties regarding the administration of trusts, estates, and guardianships

    • Qualifications

  • Efficient, fast learner, detail-oriented
  • Personable, professional, and dependable with good phone skills
  • Experience with HotDocs program is a plus but not required
  • Hands-on experience in a legal office
