Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PM (8 Hour Days)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750 - $1870

Call Requirements : 1 every 6 days, including weekends

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 or 2 : 1

Unit Beds : 13

EMR System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred

Ability to float to pre-op and endoscopy units as needed

Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

OR RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective patient care in the operating room in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and healthcare regulatory standards

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Prepare and maintain operating room supplies, instruments, and equipment

Communicate with patients’ families and update physician preference cards

Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures

Supervise and support healthcare personnel delivering patient care

Float to pre-op and endoscopy units as required
