Job Description

Manage civil engineering projects with minimal oversight for large and small projects. You will work with multidisciplinary project teams serving municipal, residential, and land development clients. Projects range from cradle to grave, including marketing, proposal writing, and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project design teams, including but not limited to staffing, marketing, schedules, contract administration and budgets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to manage and design multiple projects at one time.
• Perform civil design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
• Work closely with CAD staff to provide clear and accurate construction documents.
• Draft sketches, contract documents, and specifications.
• Provide project management on smaller and large projects.
• Review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Develop probable construction cost estimates for projects.
• Observe construction and coordinate with contractors.
• Conduct field inspections and condition assessments and prepare reports.
