Job Description

The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist is responsible for prepping and monitoring patients during cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. This role involves assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury by creating images using imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Administer contrast agents as needed.
  • Assist physicians and co-workers during procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures.
  • Maintain supplies and ensure radiation safety protocols are adhered to.

    • Required Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Cath Lab, Special Procedures, or Radiology.
  • EKG interpretation is preferred.

    • Education

    A diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular program is required.
