Construction Safety Manager (Loudoun County)

Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced full-time, on-site Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety efforts on upcoming large-scale construction projects. These projects vary in scope and complexity, requiring a proven safety leader who can adapt to dynamic environments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture : Prepare, implement, and enforce health and safety policies that promote a proactive, zero-incident jobsite culture.
• Lead Safety Programs : Develop, manage, and continuously improve site-specific safety programs, plans, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Monitor & Report : Conduct audits, inspections, and field observations; track safety metrics, document findings, and prepare reports.
• Identify & Control Hazards : Anticipate and mitigate risks, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and verify effectiveness.
• Drive Engagement : Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions to maintain awareness and accountability among all site personnel.
• Collaborate Effectively : Partner with clients, general contractors, and project teams to align on safety priorities and compliance requirements.
• Investigate & Improve : Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring documentation and follow-up of corrective measures.
• Oversee Site Operations : Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with EHS expectations.
• Maintain Documentation : Manage all safety records, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and timeliness.
