We are seeking an experienced Manager of Risk Management!

The Manager of Risk Management is a key member of the Palo Verde Leadership Team and whose responsibilities are listed as follows :

• The Risk Manager has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss.
• General knowledge of facility insurance programs.
• Interface with the corporate risk management department.
• Administer the UHS TERM Program on a day-to-day basis.
• Analyze risk management data.
• Conduct risk management educational programs.
• Comply with risk management related standards by accrediting and regulatory agencies with the objective of enhancing patient safety.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the facility.
• Coordinate the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed so as to comply with guidelines and standards of TJC, CMS, other regulatory agencies, and the UHS TERM Program.

Qualifications : Job Requirements :

Education : BA in a related field. Clinical education background, preferred.

Experience : Minimum of three (3) years experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in a psychiatric in-patient healthcare facility, preferred.

PVBH is an 84-bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.
