Role Summary As a Data Analyst at Grant Consultants Ltd, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, analysing, and visualising data to support our consulting engagements and internal operations.
You will partner with consulting, operations, and leadership teams to transform data into actionable insights, build dashboards and reports, and help drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Acquire, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (internal databases, client systems, spreadsheets, CRM / ERP) Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for efficiency / performance improvement.
Build and maintain dashboards, visualisations, and reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) that summarise operational, financial, and client-engagement metrics.
Provide ad-hoc analyses and insights in response to business questions, including scenario modelling, forecasting, and “what-if” requests.
Work with stakeholders across consulting, sales, and operations to understand data needs, scope analytical projects, and deliver relevant outputs.
Improve data processes :
Potentially support grant / client-funding engagements (depending on project) by providing analytics around grant budgets, spending, and outcomes (if applicable) Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role (consulting, business services, or similar environment) Ability to query and manipulate data (SQL, and / or experience in scripting languages like Python / R / R is a plus) Strong analytical mindset, able to interpret data, formulate insights, and recommendations Experience with data cleaning, validation, maintaining data pipelines, and ensuring data quality Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work independently in a dynamic environment (especially if the role is remote / hybrid) Any of the following are advantageous :
