Job Description

Ciocca Ford of York is seeking a highly skilled Ford Diesel Technician to join our service department. This position is designed for a technician experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford Super Duty and heavy-duty pickup trucks (not commercial long-haul vehicles). The ideal candidate will bring strong diesel engine expertise and the ability to manage advanced diagnostic and repair tasks with precision and efficiency.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday to Friday, rotating Saturdays as needed

Work Location : In-person in York, PA

Work Requirements

Ability to commute to York, PA

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford diesel engines (Power Stroke) and associated drivetrains

Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty Ford trucks, including brakes, suspension, electrical, and cooling systems

Execute warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards

Perform in-depth troubleshooting using Ford IDS and other OEM diagnostic tools

Accurately document all services and communicate clearly with service advisors

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Stay up to date with Ford training, technical bulletins, and diesel-specific technologies

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on diesel repair experience (Ford Power Stroke experience strongly preferred)

Ford Diesel Certification is highly desirable

Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced shop environment

High school diploma or equivalent required
