Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for uncovering insights behind the costs? We are helping our client find a skilled Cost Accountant to join their dynamic team that is focused on operational excellence and financial transparency.

As the Cost Accountant, you'll be responsible for analyzing product costs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting financial decision-making across the organization. A strong understanding of Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) processes is essential, as you'll play a key role in reconciling inventory and vendor transactions. This role is onsite in Franklin, TN.

Salary up to $87,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant :

Monitor and analyze cost variances across product lines and locations

Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including GRNI accounts

Prepare monthly cost reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting

Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking

Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

Qualifications of the Cost Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment

Hands-on experience with Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reconciliation

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
