As a Line Cook , you’ll be responsible for executing dishes with precision and care during service, while maintaining the high standards of our kitchen.
Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
Execute dishes to spec during service, following exact recipes, plating guides, and timing
Maintain a clean and organized station throughout prep and service
Communicate effectively with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and chefs to ensure smooth service flow
Maintain proper mise en place and anticipate the needs of your station
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards throughout your shift
Participate in daily prep, including butchery, sauce work, pickling, fermentation, and fire cooking
Receive and store ingredients, ensuring proper labeling and FIFO rotation
Assist in training and supporting new team members as needed
Stay focused and calm under pressure in a fast-paced, open kitchen
Adapt to direction and feedback from the Chef and Sous Chefs throughout service
Requirements :
1–2 years experience working a hot or cold line in a professional kitchen, ideally in fine dining or high-volume restaurants
Strong knife skills and a solid grasp of fundamental cooking techniques
Ability to follow detailed instructions and take initiative when needed
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Team-oriented mindset and a drive to continually improve
