What You'll Do as a Fleet & Equipment Mechanic :
Oversee fleet maintenance schedules and perform basic vehicle repairs such as oil changes, hose replacements, and lightbulb changes.Ensure all company vehicles meet safety standards and are ready for daily operations.Maintain & repair insulation machines and related equipment, coordinating with vendors for advanced repairs or replacement parts.Provide on-call availability for evening or emergency equipment repairs.Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely and support installers in the field while documenting recurring problems.Manage inventory of parts, materials, and PPE to prevent downtime.Order supplies in coordination with supervisors and upcoming project needs.Assist with pulling materials and loading purchased products for customers.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently.Work full-time (45 hours per week), including a half-day every other Saturday during busy season, with on-call responsibility for after-hour breakdowns.Our Ideal Fleet & Equipment Mechanic :
Experienced : 1+ years in automotive or small engine repair; inventory management experience a plus; forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain a Class B CDL license is a plus.Troubleshooter : Excels at diagnosing problems and guiding others through solutions, including remotely.Organized : Prioritizes tasks, manages schedules and parts, and maintains strong attention to detail.Tech-savvy : Uses email effectively, including sending photo attachments for communication.Active : Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work independently in fast-paced warehouse or field environments.What We Offer Our Fleet & Equipment Mechanic :
