About the Role

We’re looking for a Billing Processor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of PrePass’s financial records by managing payment reconciliation and cash application processes. In this role, you’ll review daily postings, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reliable financial documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Operations teams to deliver accurate results and a positive customer experience. This is a hybrid role based out of our downtown Phoenix office.

Essential Responsibilities

Payment Reconciliation and Accuracy

• Review, reconcile, and verify payments posted to customer accounts against bank deposits and system reports at the start of each business day.
• Identify, investigate, and correct posting errors, misapplied funds, duplicate transactions, and other discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payment exceptions, including returned items, chargebacks, short-pays, and unapplied cash.
• Manage the refund queue, process refunds, and assist in related activities as required.
