What We Are Looking For
- An Electrical Project Engineer for our Pittsburgh, PA (region) with at least one of the following :
Experience working with a self-performing contractor
Construction experience in a multi trade environmentA professional with the ability to perform the following tasks :Provide technical support to a project team to expose, track, resolve, and notate project issues
Manage all project documents through the document control teamProcess and track submittals and RFIsAssist in the coordination of planning and fabrication activitiesSupport Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of quotationsMaintain project schedule via the Enterprise Scheduling DepartmentPrepare and issue meeting minutesAssist with planning and managing site logisticsImplement corporate safety policies on jobsiteReceive, review, and evaluate subcontractor quotationsAssist in the tracking of change orders and cost managementManage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalitiesProcess new hire documents and verify accuracy of the site payroll submissionParticipate in a culture of continuous learning, training, and skill developmentAbility to travel and / or temporarily relocate based on project needsWillingness to work in both office and on-site environmentsPerform tasks at the discretion of the project management teamPreferred Qualifications
One to three (1-3) years of relevant construction experienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred, or a technical college degree with two (2) years construction experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailPositive attitude with an aptitude for proactive and team-oriented problem solvingProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related construction softwareCommitment to SafetyWhat We Are Offering
