Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or identify potential concerns. Monitor for suspicious behavior or activities and report findings according to established protocols. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted activity. Interact professionally with store staff, visitors, and the public while upholding Allied Universal standards. Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities. Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as required. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas. Possess a handcuffing certification, preferred. Possess a baton certification, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Armed - Shopping Center Patrol
As a Security Professional - Armed - Shopping Center Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
