Shift Hours : 1st Shift : 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and organize daily dock assignmentsConduct regular hourly checks of the dock areaRead and interpret a variety of stage plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or Work Instructions (WIs)Engage in physical activities to sort and move products effectivelyOperate material handling equipment, such as RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and pallet jacksRe-box and label materials, conduct weight counts for sales orders, and transfer materials to staging areasPerform various duties, including organizing excess items from pickingEnter data accurately, including completing daily production sheets and other necessary transactionsMark and tag containers with appropriate identifying informationAssemble product containers as requiredPack containers and re-pack damaged ones as neededInstall protective devices, like bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage during transportationParticipate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill developmentComply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious cultureFollow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environmentUndertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by managementQUALIFICATIONS ( Education, Experience, & Skills required)
Preferred : High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 1 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrates strong problem-solving abilitiesCapable of following instructions and responding to management directionDetail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environmentHas the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsPossesses effective verbal communication skillsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Standing Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary positionWalking, Reaching and Handling Must be able to frequently move about inside the warehouse to access product and machinery, etc. Must be able to stand and walk 60% of time, lift up to 40 lbs. normal, up to 70 lbs. less than 10% of time.Seeing Frequently reads various documents and operates computer and other office tools / databases / equipment.Talking and Hearing Frequently communicates with colleagues, co-workers, and customers.
