Job descriptionPrepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including conceptual, hard bids, and negotiated bids. Analyze project documents, specifications, and blueprints to develop accurate and competitive pricing. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or client expectations. Maintain and update cost databases, market trends, and pricing strategies. Proven experience as an Estimator in retail, medical, senior living, or education construction projects. Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, construction processes, and project management principles. Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar tools). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
