- Job duties include :
- Abiding by all governing agencies' rules and regulations.
- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities that abide by the Florida VPK standards.
- Conducting VPK assessments on your students.
- Parent communication included but not limited to, parents conferences, relaying information regarding the students' developmental achievements / concerns and student behavior.
- Ensuring that all children are safe, healthy, and actively engaged.
- Job requirements include :
- Has Child Development Associate
- Has DCF required 45 clock hours
- Has all required VPK trainings
- Be at least 18 years of age and have graduated high school or equivalent
- Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certifications within 90 days of employment
- Willing to obtain In-Service hours annually (paid for by employer)
- Willing to obtain level 2 background screening clearance prior to employment
