The QA Analyst role at AccuLynx requires someone who is an investigator, a critical thinker, and is passionate about the user experience. We build products that make thousands of contractors’ lives better every day. We are in an emerging market that allows us to be creative and inventive on a daily basis.
What will you do?
- Lead testing efforts on an agile development team for software product enhancements and fixes.
- Identify test requirements and document an appropriate level of test coverage for various test types (functional, regression, deployment, etc.).
- Execute both scripted and exploratory tests efficiently. Uncover bugs as early as possible in the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to identify tests that can be automated.
- Review user stories and their acceptance criteria for testing purposes. Identify risks or design flaws and provide solutions to develop and implement.
- Document, communicate and facilitate correction of defects discovered during the product life-cycle.
- Provide input into process and incorporate testing best practices into our existing process model.
- Work as a member of a smart and passionate agile software development team.
- Own the quality of AccuLynx’s products throughout the development lifecycle.
What should you have?
A passion for software and technology in general.Aptitude for learning and a drive to get things done.4+ years of relevant experience, including a solid understanding of software testing principles and best practices.Exposure to technologies in our stack : AngularJS, .NET, Javascript, gRPC, Kubernetes, Sql,Git.Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills.A proactive style with the ability to follow through on commitments and understand the importance of deadlines.Have These? Hands-on experience with software test automation and / or performance testing.Working proficiency in at least one programming language (ideally C#).Basic understanding of HTML / CSSTechnical expertise with tools for testing “under the covers” such as Postman, Swagger, BloomRPC, SQL, DevTools, etc.Mobile testing experienceRequirements :
