A corrections facility is seeking a family physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Troy, VA.

About the Clinician's Workday

This assignment is set to start ASAP and will last 3-6 months with the option to extend. Credentialing takes about two weeks. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 : 30 p.m., with no call. The provider, MD only (separate need open for NP), will see 18-20 adult patients per day. Candidates must hold a Virginia license and DEA. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs. The clinic uses paper charts with Sapphire for prescriptions.
