Our client is a fast-growing, family-owned general contractor based in Washington DC. They specialize in construction management and general contracting for private, institutional, and government clients with a focus on interiors.

Your new role

This role has a focus on leading company-wide success in all preconstruction activities directed for the support of preparation and undertaking for all preconstruction services. The position is responsible for compiling takeoffs, subcontractor deliverables, assisting in estimating and tab sheet creation. As well as working with leadership to build out the Preconstruction team moving forward.

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry at a General Contractor
• Knowledge of Estimating & Takeoff Software
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related experience
• Strong knowledge of DC Commercial Construction
• Strong Business Development skills
