About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

License : State License : Oregon

Certifications : BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS-Adult or CCI RCS

Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred

Must have experience with EPIC charting system

Description :

Position requires floating between units.

On-call duty is necessary and rotational with other staff.

On-call includes one weekday every two weeks and one weekend every 4-6 weekends.

Weekends are required for call coverage or shifts depending on the rotation.

Block scheduling is part of the requirements.

Patient ratios are expected at 1 : 1.

Orientation includes 40 hours.

Patient age groups include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 10 patients.

The facility has seven staffed outpatient rooms.

Most shifts will involve outpatient schedules.

Typical echo exams are performed, with no complex procedures such as TAVR or Mitra-Clip.

Either RDCS-Adult or RCS certification is necessary, but only one is needed.

Candidates may need to float to affiliate facilities.

Providers will require a vehicle for this assignment.

Communication devices necessary for the role will be provided.

Compliance with the return staff policy is mandatory.

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities.

Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
