Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician

Join a Prestigious Neonatology Practice in Las Vegas, NV! Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neonatologist to become a vital member of a team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs at a well-established facility located at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, situated in the scenic suburbs of Las Vegas. Job Responsibilities : Join a team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs in the Las Vegas suburbs. Work 24-hour shifts with in-house on-call duties. Engage in full-time practice with 7.5 shifts per month (2160 hours annually). Receive support from NNPs during shifts. Provide services at four area hospitals with approximately 1,700 annual admissions and over 10,000 births per year, rotating among the locations. Participate in patient care in a 52-bed Level-III NICU at Summerlin Hospital and other Level-III NICUs in the area. Utilize advanced neonatal care techniques, including iNO and high-frequency ventilation, and total body cooling. Engage with an active transport program and have access to full perinatal and pediatric subspecialty support. Participate in clinical research and Quality Continuous Improvement (CQI) programs. Residency within the immediate local area may be required. Qualifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Must be TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility). Clean malpractice and license history (preferred). Willingness to obtain a Nevada medical license if not already held. DEA and CSR / CDS must be obtained prior to start date. License and Certification Requirements : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Current Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain. DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start). CSR / CDS registration (must be obtained prior to start).
