Job descriptionProvide direct inpatientcare and manage complex medical cases Oversee patients throughoutthe continuum of care : pre-admission, inpatient, and post-op Collaborate with surgical,specialty, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality care Participate in patientsafety and quality improvement initiatives Document and communicateeffectively using the electronic medical record system MD or DO from an accreditedmedical school Board Certified or BoardEligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Unrestricted medical licenseto practice in the State of North Carolina Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALScertifications Demonstrated experience inhospital medicine, including care coordination and acute case management Strong clinical judgment andability to make timely, critical decisions Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills Strong organizational,problem -solving, and teamwork abilities Proficiency in EMR systemsand basic computer skills
