Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg

Job Details :

  • Work as MS Float pool RN covering medical surgical floors
  • 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Holiday rotation required
  • Float between med surg floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower
  • Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6 : 1)
  • 2 years of experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License required
  • BLS certification required
  • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Dress code : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
  • EPIC charting system
  • Skills required : Isolation Precautions, Med / Surg, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of Rapid Response / Code teams
  • Care for adult patients
  • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November
  • Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours must be completed pre-start
  • $20 parking registration fee for garage hang tag

    This healthcare organization is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility with Magnet Hospital designation, featuring 820 total staffed beds. The facility utilizes EPIC charting systems and provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers extensive medical surgical services across multiple campus locations.
