Strategy Analyst II

General Description Of Position : The Strategy Analyst supports the Murphy USA Strategy department in articulating and developing the company's strategy and works across the business to better understand how current and anticipated macro trends impact the business. The Strategy Analyst serves as a supporting analyst on strategic initiatives and the EPMO in estimating, measuring, and tracking the performance of strategic enterprise projects and programs using various analysis techniques. This role works closely with the Manager of Strategy and Murphy USA senior management to deliver Strategy assignments. The assignments span a wide range across delivering on new technological system implementations to the introduction of new capabilities in store.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Supporting research and analytical projects in collaboration with business leads.
• Conducting financial and statistical analyses on new enterprise initiatives in support of estimating potential and tracking value post implementation.
• Building productive relationships across departments and levels.
• Partnering with business leaders to understand business performance and the impact of macro trends.
• Monitoring macro short- and long-term trends that may impact the industry and / or the consumer.
• Preparing clear, persuasive and concisely written presentations.
• Delivering both formal and informal presentations.
• Providing comprehensive support in coordinating internal and external resources required across various projects and initiatives.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Education and experience equivalent to four years of college, plus 3-5 years related experience and / or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
