As a School-Based Therapist , you will be instrumental in supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs within schools and communities. Your role will encompass delivering individual, group, and family therapy, collaborating with educational staff, and utilizing a holistic treatment approach.
Your Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify individuals' needs.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools to gather key information.
- Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals and families.
- Set measurable goals and objectives that cater to individual needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions through various modalities including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Implement effective techniques to address a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
- Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources for a comprehensive treatment strategy.
- Engage in outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness within schools and communities.
- Monitor progress and maintain regular contact with individuals on your caseload.
- Document all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and within company timeframes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide coordinated care.
- Respond to crisis situations and develop safety plans.
- Connect individuals and families with additional resources as needed.
- Stay abreast of new treatment modalities and best practices in mental health therapy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Your Qualifications :
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.Minimum of two years of experience working with children and / or families.Eligibility for professional licensure in Georgia as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.Be Well with HCA :
