Position Summary

The Foster Care Recruiter works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families being served by the National Youth Advocate Program by working closely with the youth and family to provide advocacy and support towards targeted goals. This contractor position is for the licensing team and would be solely responsible for writing home studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs Mission, Values and Philosophies.
• Interview prospective foster parents.
• Maintain confidentiality of client's and agency information.
• Maintain professional boundaries, conduct and confidentiality and other governmental laws and regulations, agency policy and licensure ethics.
• Able to effectively meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Contractor responsibilities vary and are outlined in a signed agreement between the independent contractor and NYAP.
• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies.

Minimum Qualifications

The person in this position needs to follow a team concept and support both agency goals and co-workers. Employees must be able to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
