Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Location : Saginaw, MI

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025

Shift : Days, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Hours / Week : 36 hours guaranteed

Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every weekend (holidays included)

On Call : None

Job Summary :

The PACU RN is responsible for maintaining adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients recovering from anesthesia. This role requires continual assessment of patients, implementing physician orders, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities :

Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services per physician plan of care and nursing standards.

Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, transfers, responding to call lights and alarms.

Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with the healthcare team on updates.

Process physician / provider orders and deliver care accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow up on medication changes and clarifications as needed.

Submission Requirements :

2+ years of PACU or critical care experience – Required

BLS & ACLS (AHA) – Required
