Job Description

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, and values, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria, making judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. Additionally, the RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN / PCT and Unit Secretaries.
