Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with Epic EMR expertise and an active IA or compact license for a travel assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes all ages experiencing emergency medical conditions
  • EMR system used is Epic and prior Epic experience is required
  • Must work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
  • Only 1 day of time off permitted within specified holiday blackout periods
  • One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years is required for consideration
  • Former employees are not eligible if employed within the last 12 months

  • Active IA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent ER nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Certifications required : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), TNCC, NIHSS
  • CPI, MOAB, or MAB certification highly recommended but may be completed during onboarding if not held
  • Must have all certifications active and in hand unless otherwise specified
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Cannot be a local candidate and must live at least 50 miles from the facility
