Neurosurgery physician employment in Pennsylvania :

Locums Neurosurgery Johnstown, Pennsylvania

Start Date : January 2, 2026Contract Length : Ongoing (initial dates January 25, 1225, 3031)

Schedule & Shift Details :

Shifts : 8 : 00am8 : 00am

24 / 7 neurosurgical trauma coverage

Additional locum support dates expected in the future

Position Overview : This locums Neurosurgery assignment provides full trauma and inpatient coverage at a high-acuity facility. The neurosurgeon will manage daily rounding on inpatients, respond to STAT and trauma consults promptly, and oversee both assigned and unassigned patient care. This role ensures continuity of neurosurgical care with rapid response to urgent cases.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities :

Inpatients per day : approximately 1012

New patient consults : 34 per day

Respond to STAT / Trauma consults within 30 minutes

Respond to regular consults within 24 hours

Assigned and unassigned patient management

Charting via Epic EMR

Facility Details :

Practice Setting : Hospital / Inpatient

Coverage : Neurosurgical trauma and inpatient consults

EMR : Epic

Requirements :

Fellowship trained in Neurosurgery

Board Certified through the American Board of Neurological Surgery

Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC with LOC in hand
