We are currently assisting our client, a leading supplier in the construction equipment industry, in their search for an experienced Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the company's rental and customer-owned equipment.
Job Description :
- Diagnosing, inspecting and repairing various types of forestry and other earth moving equipment
- Servicing rentals, and customer-owned equipment
- Utilizing electrical, hydraulic and computer-controlled systems knowledge
- Communicating effectively with customers, supervisors, and vendors
- Driving to / from company locations and job sites
- Being on call
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
Qualifications :
3-5 years’ experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy equipmentPositive customer service and communication skillsExperience using laptop computers and scan tools for diagnostic trouble-shootingAbility to complete tasks without direct supervisionSafe work habits and a “can do” job completion attitudeAbility to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)Experience in troubleshooting various heavy equipment product linesRequired to have your own hand tools up to 1 ½ inchAbility to perform thorough and accurate annual inspectionsA high school diploma or equivalentAble to pass a drug screen and background checkValid Washington or Oregon State or Idaho Driver’s License, CDL endorsement is RequiredIf you meet the above qualifications and are excited to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, we encourage you to apply.
